What this covers
This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It covers visitors to this website and clients who commission an audit.
Signal & Forma is the trading name of Relentless Scout LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.
Information you give us
When you enquire. Name, email, and the information you provide in the contact form, including your role and what you are looking to accomplish.
When you become a client. Billing information, processed by our payment provider. We do not store card numbers.
Information we gather about you
This is the unusual part of what we do, so we will be precise about it.
To produce an audit, we research your public online presence. This includes professional networking profiles, company websites, personal websites, search results, published articles, interviews, podcasts, and other publicly accessible sources.
We only research people who have commissioned an audit of themselves, or who have given explicit written consent to be audited. We do not accept engagements to research third parties without their knowledge.
Research may incidentally capture information about people connected to you: colleagues, co-founders, people quoted alongside you. We collect this only where it bears on how you are perceived, we do not build separate records about those people, and we do not retain it beyond your engagement.

This website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies and collects usage data including approximate location, device type, and pages visited.

Where GDPR applies, our legal basis is contract performance for the audit itself and legitimate interest for website operation. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
Service providers. Hosting, form handling, analytics, payment processing, and AI providers used in analysis. Each processes data on our instructions only.
Nobody else. We do not sell your information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not disclose the fact of your engagement without your permission.
We may disclose information if legally compelled, and will tell you unless prohibited from doing so.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become engagements: 12 months, then deleted
- Client research files and reports: 24 months after delivery, then deleted unless you are on an active monitoring subscription
- Billing records: as long as tax law requires
You may ask us to delete your research file earlier. We will, subject to any records we are legally required to keep.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your information, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent.
California residents have rights under the CCPA including access, deletion, correction, and the right to know what is collected. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
EEA and UK residents have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and reputable service providers. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you and any required authority if a breach affects your information.
Children
Our services are for professional adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We will post changes here with a revised effective date, and notify active clients directly of material changes.
